Is a control test of 2.3 mmol/l red top bottle an ok test

Don't do a control test as often as I should

Never done any control test (i do not even have the control solution) for any of my meter. I just compare it with my gp meter and as long it in the 15% range i happy with my.I know it a bad idea when i using the meter reading for my bolus dosage but it hard to find control solution at my country.

That's the sort of reading you should get with the blue top bottle. The red top bottle should read 16.7. I use a Freestyle Freedom Lite and I once got the test fluids, asked what was in them and worked out what they should read.

I have never bothered to control test on either my Abbots or Accu-Chek meters.

I just check between meter readings with the Freedom Lite and Performa.

Ok thanks think it's fine merry Christmas to you all
And a happy New Year
