FreeStyle insulinx bm meter : does anyone have one .

Both if u r concerned it's not reading right

I was told by Freestyle that it only needed to be used with the control solution if you where concerned that it was not reading right other wise its not necessary to do anything to it, no calibration needed - though you do need to have your doctor or Inslinx trained pharmacist help you set it up for use with Insulin (as the meter is meant for those who are on insulin). They need to input their code to unlock the machines ability to calibrate for insulin dosages (if you wish to use that part of the feature - which is one of the major reasons for having the meter in the first place for many.

As i recall the code was caa1c if you are sure you know that you want to use this feature
