Hi. I am starting to feel a complete loss of control. I have been having issues with my arm disk and getting blood glucose readings. This has been going on for many days and, right now, I have been without a blood check for 4 days leaving me to use guesswork when deciding a dose of insulin. I have contacted the Health Centre, who advised I contact the chemist that does my prescription. The chemist advised I contact the manufacturers Abbott. Abbott were good and sent me two new disk sensors by 1st class post. But, having applied the new sensor and waiting the hour for it to set-up, the same old error message appears saying wait 10 minutes. I have waited repeatedly for days without the message changing. I have no idea how to resolve this. I have turned bluetooth off and on again and the same with my phone. No change. Has anybody got any advice? I'm desperate as I live alone, so night checks are vital.

Hi Tony
Unfortunately we get these issue now and then.
Did you have it working before and it has suddenly stopped?
Things to check are the basic compatibility - you don't say which phone you are using?
Check your operating system

Make sure your phone's NFC (Near Field Communication)is on.
Make sure your app is updated, you could try to uninstall it and re-insatll it.

God luck.

I need to be careful not to cross post as a T2 never used a CGM but you say you have been without a blood check for 4 days. Do you not have a finger prick tester that you can revert to? It’s advisable to always have a testing kit for just these occasions or to double check readings from a CGM that may be questionable. It must be very stressful for you trying to guess your BG and dosage of insulin
