Currently not well and noticed big difference between freestyle libre 2 plus readings and finger tip readings. Freestyle libre plus reading is 3 .0 and finger prick reading is 4.3,anyone else get readings like that

Although startling when your CGM device shows a low reading and it's in red too. Libre's accuracy falls off once you leave that 'normal range'. That's why most diabetics confirm low CGM readings with a finger prick, and use the finger prick as the number to go by. Also there is an allowable accuracy of 15%+/- with all measuring devices so that needs to be taken into account. I would always use the finger prick reading over the CGM when it comes to low readings.
My Libres tend to read lower than a fingerprick by 0.8 - 2 mmol/l at any range below 11, including hypo levels. They've done so since I started using them 8 years ago.

I would always go with the finger prick reading, taking into account low symtoms if you have them.
I have to admit my libres give me a good 10/15 minute heads up on an impending low before I get the early symptoms.
In the early days of using them when they alarmed I thought, “am I heck..?!?”
Then sure enough..
The Libre actually takes the edge of the lows for me so a nominal amount of fast acting carbs averts any real space outs?
It still drops a little further, then the lag of recovery on the graph. But then I used to see that testing every 5 minutes with a meter too…(the meter tended to show a quicker response time to treatment.) my brain function was still ahead of both..
That’s how I got to know the L1 using a Bluetooth bridge as a “CGM.” & the 2 successors.. not much difference for me..
Without fail (to date.) unless it’s a compression low waking me?
But then I got 15mins to see it bounce back.
I’m slow to wake though normally feel the low if I am when I do…
Real hypos on a graph for me look like they have been happening for 45 minutes.
In reality. A third of the time by the time I’ve treated it?
