hello everyone,
Hoping someone can answer this question and has been in the same predicament! I knocked my freestyle libre senor on a wall and my libre tester is now saying to pair a new sensor and won’t let me use the one I’ve got on. I usually get my sensor from my local pharmacy but it not due until Thursday, do you think they will give me a new one sooner if I explain to them what happened?
Thanks in advance, I feel so lost without it now hahah

It depends what your relationship is with your pharmacy.
They may order it in for you so not have any available.

The only person who can answer is your pharmacist.

However, I have found it is good not to have a Libre all the time - it makes me do finger pricks which are, for me, much much much more accurate.
Sometimes we can become too dependent on technology which, as you have just found, is not always around.

@helensaramay, I’m pretty sure they’ll have a sensor that I will be able to have and I can put my prescription in so that they are not short. It’s like “borrowing” until my prescription has been authorised. I’m more worried about the Freestyle company, I had a letter off my DSN saying that they will only fund me for 2 sensors per month and no more.
Yes, but the problem is that I’m pregnant and have an antenatal appointment with my diabetes consultant on Tuesday and he will want to see my pump and libre readings for the last two weeks.
