Checked out on the Abbotts site before swimming today:

Your sensor is water-resistant and can be worn while bathing, showering, or swimming as long as you: Do not take it deeper than 3 feet (1 meter) Do not keep it under water for longer than 30 minutes at a time

My new sensor was applied Friday and fell off in the pool within the first 10 minutes. Anyone else having these issues?

Thank you

Although the sensor is 'waterproof', I also had this problem with the swimming pool, which I think may be do to the chlorine and other chemicals in pool water, as opposed to the shower or bath. There are plastic adhesives that will cover the sensor button, and I've just bought a box of a brand called Leukosan (there are others). The problem was that the adhesive protector then stuck to the surface of the sensor and pulled it off when I removed the adhesive! I'm now thinking to do a two-step of covering the button with a small piece of non-adhesive plastic wrap with the larger adhesive square over it and onto the skin. There may be other adhesives that stick only on the outside of the sensor and leave the button just in an air space.

I use Kinesiology tape and leave the backing on over the sensor so that the tape doesn't stick to the sensor.
I keep the tape on all the time but I don't swim in a pool.
It works fine for showering.

Hi, have a read of this forum thread.

Hi,
I always put Rocktape on top of Libre. At the moment I'm on holiday and spend lot of time in the swimming pool, and Rocktape does the job of keeping my Libre on my arm.
Sometimes edges of Rocktape starting to peel off, I then simply trim them off. Or, with someone's help, you could pull off old tape and apply new one- sometimes Rocktape doesn't last two weeks.
