I am keen to get advice on ways to protect the sensor and see what people do to add a cover or similar to keep it in place If you have a patch or other solution that you could recommend I would be very grateful Thanks

They're not very pretty looking but great for protecting the sensor and if you position it right then you get no adhesive on the actual sensor making it easier to take off and replace when needed.
