I have final got onto the freestyle libre test kit after 2 years of waiting and it has been great up to now
but i am finding it hard to find a chemist who can supply me with prescription. Does anyone know of any where in Middlesbrough
who can get what i need for my repeat prescription.
 
Hello, I guess you can call around your local pharmacies to see who has them in stock.

My pharmacy near my house has had trouble getting it too. However other pharmacies like ASDA have had them in stock. You might have to drive out to get them. I usually call them in advance to ask if they supply it and if they have any in stock, if they do, I tell them I'm on my way to pick it up.
 
I get mine from ASDA and they are having bother getting them too. It seems Abbott have supply problems again according to my ASDA pharmacy. The have 12 waiting for supplies currently.

Have you got a Boots? heartbreaking to have to use them, but because they are such a large chain of shops they don't have anything like the supply issues smaller chemists have.

When I first got Libre my local chemist told me he had to register with Abbotts to get them, and it took him ages, and he couldn't supply them, so got them from another chemist. In the end I switched to Boots, bit of a shame, but I liked the libre sensors too much.
 
yes i have a boots do you think it would be an idea to call them to see if they have them in stock?

Mine is very small and never has them in stock, and it takes a couple of days to get them, but compared to the previous chemist that is not very long. But it might be worth calling, see what the situation is, especially if it's quite a big shop.
