So i am trying to do low carb. I am in a dilemma now. We order takeaway on Friday to take time off from cooking.

Last week I would have not cared and ordered what I fancy. Now I am not so sure so advice appreciated.

Indian takeaway is the flavour for this evening

Chicken tikka main course with a spinach or aubergine or cauliflower side dish (or all three).
No rice, no breads, no poppadum.

Chicken madras, sag panneer, cauliflower, mushroom, go easy on the beer!

Single malt on rocks and whatever you said will go great. Thanks for the advice. I will miss my peshawari naan

Will give them a go in that case. Normally i go straight for mains.
noooooooooooo plus the chutney's full of sugar..

but seriously talk about food empty of any nutritional value and poppadums must be there near the top of the best avoided list.

I've found tandoori mixed grill is a good option when it comes to Indian
I agree. I find dishes with sauce quite often have added sugar or cornstarch in them even if the traditional recipes don’t. restaurants use cornstarch to thicken and sugar to enhance the dishes.
