Hi All

Our fridge door is broken and doesn't always shut properly.

This morning it was at 9 degrees. Will my insulin still be ok long term do you think?

The manufacturers say that unopened insulin should be stored in the fridge at 2–8°C.

If your concerned that it may have been exposed to higher temp then just use the insulin up within the next few weeks and order fresh supplies.................provided you get your fridge sorted of course.

I would continue to use the insulin and if you get more than 24 hours of raised blood sugars that are not very explainable
then get your repeat script refilled and ditch the rest.
