Friends wanted

I'm 16 and was diagnosed recently. I don't know that many diabetics in my area. I've only met two and know of five even though there's a lot of us. Apparently there's a lot of stigma here about diabetics so we don't mention our diabetes but it's still kind of lonely only knowing and speaking to two. And I can't talk to my current friends because they don't really "get it" even though they're supportive etc.
