Frio pump wallet for hot climbs (not Wales!!)

Hia - just wandered if anyone else had one and what they thought of it and if's ok to use ?

I envisaged that the the casing next to the pump would be thicker and sealed (with obviously a gap for tubing) but all it is is a nylon little sack which doesn't fasten close. This then sits inside the normal frio cooling sack and then the outer case. I'm a bit sceptical as to whether or not this protects the pump from moisture but if users say it does then I'll have more confidence in the product. I've used frios for my injection pens and inuslin before and they're grand but I am a bit let down by the flimsy look of this one - maybe it's me :roll:

I don't want my pump to mal function on my first oversees trip !

Hia Phoenix - thanks for reply. We're off to Symi, a super little Greek island. I don't stay in the sun much - a lot of reading under the sun shade for me. We walk a bit but it's normall not at the hottest point of the day and I try and stray into the shade. Whats worrying me is that the pump will get damaged through moisture from the frio?

Ah I see - well I'll try that approach I think. I will soon see from my BS readings if the inuslin is getting affected by the heat. Thanks
