Hi all, diabetic 2, diagnosed when neuropathy decided to take over my life. Doing well, with metformine and diet as far as the diabetes part goes. Neuropathy is a huge problem, painful and debilitating at times. I have sciatica, two degenerative disks in my hack and degenerative left hip as well. Not on any equipment yet, struggling along but I do carry a cane with me some days. Have had a few days here and there that I could not walk and have had to use a boot cast to ease pains in a foot here and there as well. I am 48 yrs old now and some days feel in my 80s and other days maybe in my 50s or so.
Take care and see ya all on the forums.

Hi Sally and welcome to the forum I have just read your other post about your dreadful time at work and am glad you are doing so much better now. I am sorry you are in so much pain at the moment.

This is information that we give to new members on the forum, even if not newly diagnosed, which I thought you might find useful to read. Some of this information only applies to the UK. The blood readings here are in mmol/l and I expect yours are in mg/dl - you just have to multiply our figures by 18.

If there is anything you want to know just ask a question here as there is usually someone who will know the answer.
