G4/g5 Sensors.

I’m self funding my dexcom G5 and my DSN put aside 4 free sensors for me. When I went to collect them they were G4 sensors. So I didn’t take them. If I have a G5 transmitter will G4 sensors work with them?

My understanding is that the transmitters for G4 and G5 (and G6) are different.
 
I'm pretty sure G4/G5 sensors (not transmitters) are identical.
G6 sensors & transmitters arte completely different.

The G4 and G5 transmitters both use the same sensors, so yes you can.

Only the G6 has different sensors and transmitter.

Definitely get them. Hopefully you'll get a good batch. Just rebooted a sensor for the 5 th time ( 35 days) and it's still reading well within range of BS readings. Good luck

I’m only on my second sensor. First one lasted 30 days and I’m currently on day 22 with this 2nd one.
