Hi I am Male aged 69 insulin dependant.
I am at the moment suffering pain from what I suspect
is Gall Bladder related.?
Test results from an Edoscope which
showed a 3ch Hiatus Hernia.
The CT scan results are in the pipe line.(NoRush)
All my symptoms point to a Gall bladder problem.?
My question is my sugars have gone really high
high 20s.
Does gall bladder disease help to cause this.
And would the NHS treat this as urgent and operate when I finally get to see
the consultant as a follow up to my first appointment.

I would not know as I had mine removed eight years ago when I was non diabetic. I do recall the pain being horrendous. Like the poster above said most infections will increase blood sugars. Hope you feel better soon!

I think so many diabetics now that urgent doesn't seem to apply.

Any ops we are taken to surgery first thou.
