There would be nothing wrong with it but from the studies I have seen it doesn't give any benefits.. well other than its marvellous taste and ability to keep vampires at bay.
Just Google the health benefits of garlic and you'll find that it helps lower blood pressure, cholesterol and fights off colds and flu. I was taking a garlic tablet for over 15 years but stopped taking it recently and just make sure I eat enough in my diet, garlic is good for most people diabetic or not but if you do take it in tablet/capsule form do check with your Pharmacist if you are taking prescription drugs.
The main benefit apart from the disputed ones are that it makes ALL food taste better !
I put garlic and cinnamon in just about everything.
I've had absolutely no trouble with vampires or dentists or tax inspectors.
Anybody that is bothering you just pop in a clove, chew and breath in their face !
It certainly does. My good lady made a beef stew for Sunday Dinner and roasted 3 bulbs of garlic to go in the stew, the garlic was added in the last hour of cooking and just I've just finished my dinner and it tasted absolutely delicious
Footie for the next few hours starting with Liverpool v Man U.
Hello noblehead, I'm just having a pre dinner snack of mixed roasted antipasti, sun dried tomatoes, olives, courgette, artichokes, mushroom all soaked in olive oil and garlic, but I couldn't help adding more crushed garlic and olive oil, result !
ABSOLUTE SHEER DELIGHT !
And you can't beat a good stew, with that roasted garlic must have been heavenly !
