Gastric Flu

Hi all, I am in the depths of some form of gastric flu, I can't remember feeling so poorly.....ever my sugar levels have gone up slightly, but not significantly so, but maybe that is because I am not eating loads! terrible aches and pains, terrible cold and cough and an upset tummy from hell, is it normal for someone with diabetes to feel more ill than someone without, I am on diet only, oh and alternate shivers and sweating? :thumbdown: Since being diagnosed I have felt progressively better with my new lo-carb diet so I feel a bit let down that I feel so bad.
