German shepherd saves diabetic owner

Yep,
Dogs tend to look after their pack mates. They don't just look at you as a source of "meat & biscuits" <G>
The sense of "something wrong" is uncanny.

What a heart warming story .
Thanks for sharing this .

Dogs have a higher and greater sense of scent smell ability
than us humans do .
Even my own dog Gracey does/use's this skill with me .
When ever I am ill or running low blood sugared she pays me
a lot of close attention .
Drawing in my hubbys attention to me also - in doing this skill .

My Cat Shadow can sometimes sense when I'm going to fit, it's weird because when she was allot younger she used to freak out and run out of the rom i was in but over the las ten years she switched from legging it to cuddling up to me, she will jump up behind me o sit by my computer chair, it's odd.

not sure if she's actually sensing the fit or not but it's nice to know she's there when I come back

I have an exception to that.. One of my dogs, Joshua, would probably panic over possible lack of food supply, then I give it 5 minutes before he'd start gnawing on my leg or something.
Bless him, he's a lovely dog, but only loyal until the next meal!

Amazing story, no better friend than a dog!

My dog took to sleeping practically on top of me on the two weeks leading up to my diagnosis. I just thought he was being a bit clingy but he must have sensed there was something wrong. He hasn't done it since.

Very inspiring Pilgrim, thank you for thinking of posting it for us all to read.

Dogs and cats I certainly believe/know have an acute 6th sense.
Many examples prove it's no coincidence, they can pick up and zone in when
something is wrong or amiss, more so when it's someone they love and respect.

Excellent post.

Best wishes,
willie.
