Have any pumpers just lied to get a pump?
While i'm at it, if i am ever offered a pump would i still be able to play rugby?
Cheers guys!

(I'm not saying any of you guys are dishonest i'm just curious as i would like a pump but my hba1c is 5.5. I just find it embarrassing injecting when i go to town with my mates at lunchtime)

No, and wouldn't. Its too serious a condition to lie about what works best for you, but i needed it for good control. if I could of got the readings I get on my pump on mdi, I think I would of been much happier staying on mdi, but, the better control and better wellbeing I get on my pump is worth having on me 24/7, cannula changes, and getting rid of those **** BUBBLES in the refills

No, wouldn't lie as it only stops somebody more in need of one getting it sooner.
You can still do whatever used to do whilst being a pump user. Sometimes it requires a little more forethought. Many people remove their pump when doing sports and put them on again afterwards.
