So best start posting again. HbA1c of 82 has shocked me back into action, far above my best of 48. Time for a bit of effort on a low carb diet, I managed to lose 3 stone previously by restricting carbs to 100g and calories to 2000. I did it before I can do it again.

Aginoth Well-Known Member Messages 232 Location North Somerset, UK Type of diabetes Type 1 Treatment type Insulin May 24, 2017 #4 Thank you Plan is to get down from 19st (120.6kg) to 14st (88kg) in 1 year, about 600g a week. Before I let myself go again I got down to 16st in 6 months with a 2000 cal / 100g Carb max a day diet. So I know I can do it.

I think that more than that can exacerbate the cravings making the whole process much harder.
