Well here I am again. BG's not too bad for James considering the changeover. Saturday was not good as I said in an earlier post but Sunday seem to even out.
woke up 10.0
2 hours later 10.9
1 hour later 7.2
2 hours after lunch 13.8
before tea 7.6
2 hours after tea 3.6 - Lantus 16 units at 10p.m.

next morning woke 7.3
lunch at school 10.2 and added correction dose
home after school 4.9
7.45 reading this evening 4.0

I am sure we will get to grips with it all when we have a routine. I am sending results to his nurse by email on Wednesday to see what changes if any we can make.

Might add that he has also come down with a cold which does not help (of all the times to have a cold).

Thanks again for all your support and for the books mentioned which I have now got from Amazon and find very helpful too.

Pretty good readings for a start and considering he's unwell. It's difficult to make changes when you have illness to factor in as the readings tend to run a little high. It looks like his carb ratio for his evening meal might need an adjustment as he's a little low 2 hours after. But I'm sure your nurse will give you some good advice.
