We once had a homeless lad living in our garage for about three weeks, unbeknown to me. He was a mate of my teenage son, who claimed at first that he didn't know anything about it, but then admitted that he was feeding him on cheese sandwiches every day! 10/10 for compassion, but 0/10 for nutritional knowledge.
I only found out because I noticed a strange wet patch behind the garage every day, (which didn't have a sink) even when it wasn't raining.
It turned out to be quite sad, actually, because the lad's stepfather was abusive and violent towards him, so he had decided to leave home at the tender age of 14. Upshot was that he moved into my son's room for a month's-worth of hot dinners and flushing toilets, before his older sister could arrange to have him live with her in the north of England. Nicest lad you could wish to meet (although he was a bit whiffy the first time I met him, bless!)
Not at all silly....just shows how our subconscious knows stuff our conscious mind isn't aware of....Sorry, last one I promise. Just a silly one. My penpal when I was thirteen didn't believe she sleep talked. So I recorded her. Her dad was danish, and although she only spoke a few words of the language, I taped her talking fluently of how a tractor was chasing her. She was terrified when we played it back, as were the rest of her family.
Then check the terminals are tight enough.. My wife's keyless entry car had a new battery & the following day we couldn't get in the **** thing.. The car was dead. I found an emergency way in through the passenger side to open the bonnet. & sure enough the terminals weren't tightened enough.. The car was fine after that! This happened around Autumn too! LolThanks Jaylee but just been serviced, new battery around 3 months ago and other than it being foggy (as opposed to just dark), load on battery the same....bit late to think but I never but my rear fog on....all lights fine....
PS... it's a 12 year old car.....newer model than me but not for a car
Yep, I know how it's done.. I lived in a Bedford van for two weeks as a student in Surrey.. I'd somehow messed up the arrangement of my acomadation & found I had nowhere for a while. Lol found myself woken by the police in the early hours after setting up camp in a local (unbeknownst to me.) gay haunt... I found lodging with a bunch of art students in the end... Happy daze!
