Glaucoma

I am going blind. i actually don't know the doctor at the eye clinic did say it can lead to blindness i already have diabetes retinopathy on my left eye. i don't know what to do, the doctor who was doing my test will check me again 3 months i had it checked last year it was high ( the pressure in my eyes) and then again it is high, but the check in 3 months or in august will determine what treatment i will need. i have no clue since the doctor told me it has nothing to do with diabetes but, i read it is linked with diabetes. so i don't know what to think i definitely need to have better control of my blood sugar levels from now on or i am going to lose my vision. i don't know if staying around 9-14 is bad throughout the day is bad or not i am trying to stay around or under 10mmol. i still go above that after meals to 16-20mmol. but i come down after 4-5 hours to 12-13 will need to look into what else i can do to keep my levels controlled. sometimes even fasting i don't even go down i stay the same or go up my 0.1-0.5
fasting is what everyone is saying is what will help the insulin go down and that is what i am trying to achieve but, then again i am taking insulin injections so, that isn't going to help. i am going to go step by step but i really am so angry i have let myself go and get to this stage. it can either get worse or better from here. i have cut out so much from my food log and i am yet cutting out things.. i have got a few books from the store and i am reading them and they do say a lot about how blood sugar isn't the problem and how it is the insulin that is, and fasting can bring it down and help the body heal.. sorry guys i am really appreciate if you have experience with dealing with the glaucoma please to let me know your story. many thanks.

Glaucoma isn't necessarily linked with Diabetes, although it can be.
My late mother had glaucoma, which is why I have had free eye tests for decades but so far no glaucoma.
She didn't go blind, either.

I think you need to take a deep breath and push the glaucoma into the background for the moment and address your BG control.
You sound to be in a panic so try and separate out your different issues.
Your retinopathy is likely to be linked to your BG control.
This is the first thing to address.

Your levels are far too high, so your insulin regime isn't working.
You shouldn't have to fast if you are taking insulin as that should bring your BG down if you are taking enough of the right sort at the right time.
You should go back to your health care team and explain that your insulin regime isn't working, and ask for help to fix this.

I am not an insulin user, so hopefully T1s/T2s on insulin can come in and offer advice.

my health care team just give me medication and last endo app i was told only insulin can be offered nothing new is on the market i already gave trulicity a go and it didn't do me any good. i am just giving the fasting a go will do longer duration if i can as of yet no low blood sugars whilst on the glic and the insulin so shouldn't be a problem will keep checking the levels. just in case.
