Glicazide ??

Reducing my Prednisolone -10mg tomorrow!! however so far after I have taken my morning dose I'm noticing quite a rise over a period of 6-8 hours & I feel *$!!!iiiss, Then as my levels fall I start to shake. Until around 4 pm. I'm taking Metformin 1 g BD & have been following a low GL diet. Practice nurse is considering adding Glicazide ( I think short term ie the Prednisolone stops)..... Not sure what to do/ Any advice? I just want to feel "normal" again & get back to driving & work. Am I being impatient? or do you think its worth taking it? levels peak at 15mmols.
