i have been told that gliclazide contains clarithromycin derivatives?
when i had clarithromycin (on two separate occasions)...it dropped my insulin total daily dose by a third in less than a week.
i understand that its main side effect listed is severe hypos. this would have been the case had i not reduced my insulin.
so the theory would be that gliclazide may be adventageous for me who had insulin resistence?
