Glifozins are a class of drugs known as SGLT2 inhibitors.
Dapagliflozin and empagliflozin seem to be the two most commonly prescribed in the UK, but there are a couple of others. Dapagliflozin and empagliflozin are marketed as Forxiga and Jardiance respectively.
I have no experience personally, but I expect somebody will be along shortly who has been prescribed one of these drugs.
