Glimepiride is a medication which can cause hypos.
What do your numbers look like throughout the day?
Like @Mark Rawlinson said, this is something to discuss with your HCP.
On any medication that can cause hypos it's very important to always have your meter and something to treat a hypo with on hand.
I'm not too bothered with hypos, I usually catch them early and have something sweet right away which solves the problem. This means I have my meter and something sweet right at my bedside, and everywhere I go.
