That is so bad. They've known about it since last November apparently? Even on their facebook page they seem to have nothing to say about it. Very irresponsible.
I now wonder is that why the Glucomen LX Plus meter I got a few months ago was giving me readings of 3mmols difference to my old meter. I just couldn't trust it at all, ended up getting a different meter altogether and much happier with it. Def doesn't give confidence in a company if they are only recalling the strips now either.
Not sure if those are the ones I have or not, will have to check my stock, but I've had a few odd results in the last couple of weeks with these strips, like a LO reading i.e. <1.1 mmol/l which means I should have been on the floor, but with no symptoms.
Generally I have found quite a wide variance with these strips which does not aid in trying to achieve a tight control.
