Hi

I've been using the freestyle lite glucose machine for over 15yrs and in general have been very happy with it. But I am considering changing only because I'm sure they'd must be new ones on the market with new features, greater reliability perhaps, more up to date tech etc. So I'm looking for recommendations really. What are you using, and why,. What is new out there?

If it's relevant, I use a dexcom G7 CGM and a Tandem T2 slim closed loop pump.

Thanks.

Accu-Chek Instant, merely because I wanted a spare meter, they no longer made the one I had previously (Contour Next Plus), and the GP surgery has stock of the Accu-Chek ones.

The only thing I was looking for (aside from something that is available!) was that it had Bluetooth and could talk to my phone/XDrip+. I would have been hesitant about an unknown brand though unless/until I'd looked at the MARD data.

Abbott replaced my Freestyle Freedom Lite with a Freestyle 2 reader (combined reading of sensor and blood glucose) when I complained that the LibreView web site no longer had drivers to upload the data from the meter.
Despite the web site claiming support.
Might be worth a try.
