Gluten free products

Pork scratchings rarely are, many contain some form of flour, or are manufactured in a factory processing peanuts and/or flour.

I thought English mustard was the only one we couldn't have, and seem to remember reading that it was ok now.

I would think there are all ok.
Colmans english mustard has 13g of carbs per 100g, however I doubt many people would eat a jar of mustard in one sitting.
Having said that, I prefer wholegrain mustard.

Some vinegars are cross reactive to gluten or contain gluten.

I didn't know that.
Having said that, I've just checked the Colmans ite, and it does indeed contain wheat flour.

Many food items contain wheat flour, I still have to check and recheck foods.

Considering the high number of false negatives produced by the coeliac testing, there are a heck of a lot of people out there who have been told they are not coeliac, but actually are (34% of the children in the study linked below)

And then there are the Non Coeliac Gluten Intolerants...

What a pity that some people seem to think these sufferers should endure discomfort and illness rather than indulge their 'faddy' eating.

After reading this thread I just bought some polish horseradish mustard and it says gluten free
However some people still react to vinegar. I react to lots of cross reactive non gluten foods. Here's the list.
Chocolate
Coffee
sesame
Dairy
Corn
Soy
Yeast
Eggs
Aramath buckwheat hemp millet oats potato rice sorghum tapioca toffee

I don't react to all but many and I don't eat grains of any kind ever. Both my daughter and I have been tested many times and always negative but we are both very gluten intolerant. She buckles over in severe pain at a crumb. I generally just get some kind of nervous system reaction or gain inflammatory weight and achy.

Actually looking at the list I do drink coffee and eat some chocolate but I know they aren't great for me. Especially coffee. Eggs are ok if I don't eat them everyday but the rest are no go's. Guess I'm pretty sensitive haha

Nasty stuff!!
