I'm currently on 6 units of NovoRapid (FlexPen) before each meal, and 16 units of Lantus Solostar @ 2100hrs.
I was told by the nurse that if my BG was below 7.0 I should have supper before going to bed.
So 6 seems a little low from what I'm told. However everyone is different and I'm new to this (2 months)
On the old 2 injections a day, don't go to bed below 9mmol/l
If I remember rightly on dafne it suggest 8mmol/l...
But with a pump I can go to be on a 4, but must admit my nerve won't allow me to go on a level below 4.6mmol/l any lower than this I have a couple Jelly Babies to make sure..
