Going to Russia in a week - any travel tips?

I assume that you are flying...

In this case, good advice is get a doc letter, keep the insulin in hand luggage due to the the hual generally aren't heated unless live animals being carried...

Keep some spares and pens in your hand luggage, and the rest spread accross all luggage if you've got more than one case.. That way should even if a piece of luggage get mislaid have enough supplies until it's sorted...

If I remeber rightly that airport body scanners don't pose a problem with the pump, but double check this in your manual or give customer services a call to check...

As to the basal if it been an hour I would have said, could just leave it but 3 hours a tad long, Ithink on this you need to give your clinic a bell for suggestions as I haven't dealt with time change except the winter/summer changes...
