I feel I'm surrounded by people who are upset. I'm trying to keep up beat but when its from all angles I really struggle.
When I'm upset I get it off my chest then move on. Life is too short to wallow.
My family are still grieving and they need me more than my occasional imput.
I give what I can. I'm sorry if that doesn't suit everyone. I'm only human.
Sending you massive hugs Vicky, I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed. You do a fantastic job of making people feel welcome on here, and I bet you're just the same in real life. I agree with Debra, you need to look after yourself first and only then will you be in the right place to look after other people. Just remember you will always have true friends on here who value what you do, and I for one am not going anywhere!Good morning!

It's a gorgeous morning here in the West Country and it looks as if it's going to be a gorgeous few days ahead, too. Yayyy!!!
I have my granddaughters here again this week, so we've got some good 'stuff' planned - picnics in the "secret" garden (actually, it's down in the wildlife patch just behind the shed, but it's very leafy and hidden from the house, so the girls get quite excited about it,), no doubt baking some cookies (low carb, of course!), nature rambles up the lane, painting the plaster of Paris moulds we made last week, some sand and water play, checking out how the blackberries and plums are coming along and how soon we can eat them, and getting good and messy with a bunch of paints and a roll of wallpaper on the lawn (I'm thinking footprints and handprints for a start)
I hope everybody has a wonderful day and some nice weather, and I hope the poorly peeps are improving.
