Hi liam1955 13 lizanne and all, I was a bit upset this morning at my BG reading of 6.9 as it has been in the low 6 s recently in the morning so I have just tested again now 2hrs after breakfast and it is 5.7 so going down.

Good morning everyone. Scarborough is very grey and bitterly cold. I can't seem to wake up today. I'm swimming after lunch so that should wake me up! Did you sleep @liam1955 ? How are you feeling? @13lizanne no walk today? That's not like you.
 
You're right @mo53 I predict a day of lolling about reading and eating naughty things. We have an appointment with our sons ENT consultant this afternoon for the results of his latest scan, he suffers almost constant ear infections and a previous op didn't help. We have to weight everything up when taking a decision as he can't do that for himself. Guess I'm just a bit jangly today.
 
@13lizanne , I'm not surprised you are feeling jangly. It is hard enough making a decision which will effect ourselves but making them for our children is much harder. You have a magazine day. I've just rung up to get a state pension statement. I got caught when they changed the age, twice. It's amazing the things we do when we don't feel like doing much. I hope this afternoon goes well for you and there is a solution found.

Sorry for not replying sooner to @13lizanne & @mo53 - Have got next Tuesday, 29th at 11.30am, the Healthcare Nurse is comming from Manchester to discuss and watch me give myself this Cosentyx Injections. Told her on the phone that I inject Insulin daily and she says: it's all about ticking boxes and it's proceedure. So, things are starting to look/feel better already folks. Enjoy your swim @mo53 and @13lizanne - Anna, let me know how things are with your Son.
 
@liam1955 thats great news! Fantastic! I'm so pleased it's the earliest it could be in the week. @13lizanne yes I should have said please let me know how you get on this afternoon.

Good morning everybody. Cold but sunny here in Scotland. Waiting for hubby to join me from a chore he had to run first thing then off to the nearby coastal path for a long walk. Son no 1 coming to visit this afternoon so will have to buy something nice for dinner. @liam1955 is off with his ladyfriend shopping this morning, what's everyone else up to? p.s. @rodman where are you?
