I was due to take 2 Metformin from tomorrow, I rang my doc to check at what times as could not remember if 2 at a time or one in morning then dinner. As I have been taking readings quite a lot before and after meals I read them off to him and he was pleased with my diet and readings coming down well and said just to continue with 1 Metformin.

I am seeing nurse next week then diabetic nurse at some point after that.

 
Sound like you're doing really well :clap: Good luck with the nurse!

Just one word of advise. Don't let him nick your Metformin away too soon. Some of us would still take it even if we weren't diabetic as its beneficial against heart disease. The other thing is although it doesn't reduce you background level that much it does really work quite well at stopping levels from being spiky which is a good thing. Also if the doc takes all your diabetic meds away you can no longer get free prescriptions unless you qualify some other way.
