Got to see diabetic nurse

Hi had my bloods & fasting blood test last week & today I got a letter from my drs surgery saying I have to make an appointment with the diabetic nurse which I done have to see her on Monday afternoon. I'm a bit confused as to whether this means I'm diabetic or if I'm still borderline diabetic which I have been for a couple of years my way of thinking if I was diabetic surely I would have seen the dr & not the nurse to be put on medication. I asked the receptionist if this means I'm diabetic but she said there's nothing in my notes saying this I'm going away on holiday next Friday & a bit concerned as it means I will have to inform my insurance company if I'm told I don't need medication but can be controlled by loosing weight do I still have to tell travel insurance thanks.
