I've been a type two diabetic for over 10 years, but have found that following a 'healthy diet' my control has been slipping, which is more than can be said for my weight, so I'm now low carbing; losing weight and getting my blood sugar back under control. Type 2, and obesity run in the family, my paternal grandfather, father and brother all have/had it and I don't want to follow them with complications.
Hello and welcome to the forum I'm sure someone will be along to post the information usually given to new people although I can see you're not newly diagnosed.
There's a ton of information on the board so my best advice is take your time and dip in here and there. If you're low carbing there's a board just for that.
Welcome to the forum Minitata Following the information that Claire has posted for you should help you to improve your control. It sounds like you are already making some progress.
