Hi everyone,
was diagnosed with type1 at Christmas 2009. Was in a rather bad state at that point but luckely didn't suffer from any damage to my organs. After more than two years I'm still a honey-mooner so it's fairly easy to keep my bs in control but feel that it's time to start preparing for that day remission is over. I'm here to learn more, exchange experiences and support and maybe make some friends along the way.

welcome, the good and wise people of the forum will all say hello in the morning, until then I can say welcome! I guess you've read bits and know it's a friendly place with lots of knowledgeable people willing to offer the benefit of their experience.

Hi Chatarina and welcome to the forum You are certainly lucky to still be a honeymooner after two years. To help you look after yourself as well as possible here are some guidelines, not especially written with your situation in mind, but general advice on looking after diabetes. I hope this will help and please ask as many questions as you like as there is usually someone here to help.
