Hi,everyone. I've been diagnosed t2 since 2002 and on insulin (novomix30) since2010.I've had bowel cancer in 2004 and lung cancer in 2010,when I had a lung removed.Because of my now inactive life my weight has increased and I am trying to control this.I have porridge on a morning after 40 units, main meal at noon after 30 units, salad at teatime after 30 units and a sandwich
at 7pm without any insulin. My bloods are still high (11.6 to 12.4 first thing on waking). Can anyone advise me on what I could be doing wrong?(besides not reporting to the glue factory for rendering ) Tillytoerag

Hi there Tillytoerag :!:

I'm sorry to hear about all your health issues; I hope that things have improved since the surgery.

Regarding your morning highs, what are your BG levels before tea, at 7pm, and then before bed (providing that's at least 2 hours you've eaten)?

Kind regards,
Conrad
