Hello All!
My name is Rebecca and I am from Vancouver, Canada.
I was diagnosed T2 in April 2014, a week after my 32nd birthday with an A1C of 8.8 after being pre-diabetic for just over a decade. I have been taking 1000mg of Metformin daily since and eight months later my A1C is 5.9.
I have browsed these forums many times in the last few months and found a lot of useful information. I am hoping to help out others and reach out to see if there are any others in my situation. I have a couple other health issues that complicate things, mainly severe food and environmental allergies and anaphylaxis. I hope to find others in my situation to see how they deal with this on a daily basis.
