Grinning like a Cheshire Cat all afternoon

Had my latest blood tests last week, but not due to see DSN for another 2 weeks because of holidays. Thought I would try ringing the surgery to get my latest results (to see how much I have to behave on holiday!). Was amazed to be told my latest HbA1c was 41! Have been grinning like a Cheshire Cat all afternoon. Even more chuffed as I have been tinkering with the diet to see what works and having the very occasional treat, and still managed to bring it down slightly from the 43 I got in January.
Let's hope I manage to stay the course and keep it up (or down!).
