My mate owns a bakery, and is having great difficulty accepting the restrictions diabetes places on my diet! In the past few months she has offered croissants with almonds and apple in the belief the apple and nut wipe out the rest of it doughnuts with custard instead of jam as a filling, and the most enormous pasties you have ever seen :shock: I have overcome all the temptations so far, but earlier this evening she turned up with fish and chips from Rick Steins takeaway.
