hi im on metformin 2 tablets twice a day

i have notest that my hair if falling out quite a bit ever time i brush it or wash it . any one else having this problem

I haven't noticed metformin having this effect on me. What is the rest of your health like? Are you suffering from stress? Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can cause your hair to fall out. Stress can also cause it to fall out.

no not stressed feel well in myself . i have got diabetic clinic on friday so im going to ask about it then

Hi.
Try mentioning about your thyroid levels ?
As an underactive thyroid definetely causes hair shedding and loss.
Plus as has already been mentioned vitamin D deficiency.
Please do let us all know how you got on.
