When I was a beer drinker I use to have a hypo the following morning, it was always around 10am so I use to pre-empt the hypo by having a small snack a couple hours after breakfast. I now drink red wine and this has little effect on my bg nor does it cause hypo's the next morning.

I usually get mine in the afternoon, just had a couple of crumpets and knocked a unit off just in case!
Off to watch my other half play football now so hopefully a bit of fresh air and a flask of tea will cure me! Back out tonight, will offer myself as designated driver and stick to soda and lime!
