have started fitting since child birth

Hi there. Im a type 1 diabetic and have been for nerly 4 years. I had my first child 8 weeks ago and since she was born i have had 2 fits. It stems from low blood sugar and before i have chance to do anything about it i have collapsed and know nothing till i wake up in hospital or in an ambulance.

Is anyone else experiencing anything like this???

A few questions I would ask-are you on lantus as I too had some bad fits when I was on this-if you are I would see about changing to levemir
2ndly are you running around alot more then you were prior to having the baby and therefore BS are dropping unexpectantly without any warning-
if like me you are focusing on the baby and forgetting to eat yourself!!!
