When diagnosed in March my HbA1c was in the 90's.
I saw the consultant for the first time last week, and they did a blood test, first since being diagnosed.
HbA1c is now 53, and my DSN is really pleased.
I was wondering how this compares with everyone else?
We all do, I guess @johnmtp - secret is to not get too stressed about it. You've made a really good start there though.
The other thing to remember is that we are all different and react to foods and insulin differently. Some foods which cause one person's bloods to go sky high will hardly affect someone else, etc. It's all about what works for you. I've been diabetic for nearly 9 years and still wouldn't say I have it under control But I'm learning all the time.
My last one was 7.8 or 62 - not great, but ok for me. And definitely room for improvement.
