The diabetic doctor said to me before he left the practice that hba1c should be between 6.5 - 7.5 to prevent hypos at night? this according to him was the latest research. I have been working towards this and mine is 6.6, my nurse says this is great. I have read on this site that some of you have hba1c's of below 6? Does anyone know what the currant thinking is on this?
