Not actually sure what happened but a blood test in July 23 my hb number was 47. In January 24 it had dropped to 43, I put this down to making my own sourdough bread and not using a supermarket loaf. By April 24, I was very shocked to see it had jumped to 53. I really don't know what happened although I am on a new BP tablet since January (Lercanidipine). Could this be a blip or something else?
47 to 43 is not a big jump.. hba1c like most other tests have a ‘margin of error’ 2 tests on the same day from the SAME sample can give different results being 2 or 3 different. And again 47 to 53is not a big jump either
You are in the same ‘ball park’ what you don’t want is big jumps
Unfortunately sourdough bread is high in carbs ! I don't know if it's less than supermarket loaves but I know being a type 1 on the few occasions I have had it my bg has shot up .
