Someone with type 2 could be on insulin. Why are you questioning this?Your profile says Type 2.
This is old school thinking (although some doctors have not caught up).Your surgery is basing their feedback on guidelines for insulin treated diabetics.
Too low & you run the risk of hypos through over medication, too high & you run the risk of complications, it's a balancing act.
Are you claiming everything that you are entitled too. Just wondered as you may be missing something that could help you out financially xUnfortunately life style changes, like low carb, costs lots of money. I am unemployed and eating bad cheap foods cost less. With the recent price increases that reduces even further the food I can buy. I have also tried not to cook anything as cooking is very expensive.
Yes with better foods I may live longer, but with all the pressure I am getting from the UC pearled at the job centre, firing a little sooner will be no lose.
I have was diagnosed in 2006 so life style changes I could afford I tried for 11 years.Your profile says Type 2.

In your early days post diagnosis, over 6 years ago, how far did you get with diet/lifestyle changes ?
What about your mental health has this not been taken into consideration, you are clearly suffering that's why I have asked. On UC currently. I have slight complication like neuropathy and retinopathy. I can barely keep my UC as they keep on threatening to close my account. I have checked so please don’t say they can’t as CAB, my MP and the job centre say they can close it whenever they want. I tried pip and wca but they all said my health conditions are not serious enough. Yes I asked for mandatory reconsideration and appealed to a tribunal.
I am sure everyone will be perfectly ok. UC will be saving the monthly amount, the eye infirmary can stop seeing me every 2-3 months, and my doctors can save the money on my treatments. Everybody winsWhat about your mental health has this not been taken into consideration, you are clearly suffering that's why I have asked.
Except you and that's not rightI am sure everyone will be perfectly ok. UC will be saving the monthly amount, the eye infirmary can stop seeing me every 2-3 months, and my doctors can save the money on my treatments. Everybody wins
