Heartburn

Past week or so i have been getting bad acid reflux and hearburn symptoms. I am on metformin but the slow release one and having to firm the gaviscons at the minute. Has anyone suffered anything similar, im definetley not coeliac either.

I know we seem to recommend reducing carbs for absolutely everything,
but for me low carb put an end to many of my ailments, heartburn/indigestion was one of them. It also allowed me to come off the metformin for which gastric problems including heartburn, are common side effects.
